Getting started
Find your way around

Link to this guideOpen Bet IQ, Fantasy IQ, or Games
- Open Sports Hub.
- Choose Bet IQ for player and game research, Fantasy IQ for NFL fantasy tools, or Games for schedules and box scores.
- Use the league selector where available to change sports.

- Open Search from the header or hamburger menu.
- Select the relevant league.
- Search by player name, team name, or team abbreviation.
- Open a result for its profile and available stats.
Live Games & box scores
Find a game and its box score
- Open Sports Hub → Games.
- Select a league and date.
- Tap a game card.
- For live or completed games, explore the scoreboard, team totals, player box score, and available play-by-play.
Read pregame, live, and final views
Pregame views show matchup context, team form, and available player or injury information. Live and final views can show scoring, box scores, top players, and game-flow charts. The available sections depend on the sport and game status.
Link to this guideUnderstand visual stats
Read the chart title, stat label, time period, and exact values first. Team comparison bars help you see the gap; a percentage shows a rate, not a raw count. Basketball includes shooting and rebounds; baseball includes inning scores and pitching; football includes production and scoring plays; hockey includes shots and saves.
Link to this guideWhy is a score or chart missing?
- Confirm the league, game date, and game status.
- Allow for the upstream data feed to update; stats are not guaranteed to arrive instantly.
- If it still looks wrong, contact Ask Viq with the teams, date, screen, and stat or chart title. Include a screenshot if possible.
Bet IQ & Research
Choose a Bet IQ board
- Open Sports Hub → Bet IQ.
- Choose Props, Games, Trend IQ, or Streak IQ.
- Use VIqPicks for the available props sorted by confidence, or choose a sportsbook filter. The main boards are for browsing; use Research to search and add parlay selections.
Search players and teams in Research
- Open Bet IQ.
- Tap Research beside My Parlays.
- Choose a league, then search for a player or team.
- Review the available props, lines, and recent form. Back returns to the main Bet IQ board.
Add picks to a parlay
- Open Bet IQ → Research.
- Find a player or team and review an available selection.
- Add the selection to your draft.
- Continue using the same sportsbook. A draft allows up to 10 picks; duplicate selections are blocked.
Why can’t I mix sportsbooks?
The first pick sets the draft’s sportsbook. Return to that sportsbook to add more picks, or clear the draft and start again with a different book. Not every book offers every player or market.
Link to this guideSave and reopen a parlay
- Sign in and build your draft in Research.
- Tap Save Parlay.
- Open My Parlays.
- Tap a saved parlay to see its original selections and available results. Saving a parlay records your selections; it does not place a wager.
Read live stats and results
While parlay history is open, stats refresh every 30 seconds as the feed updates. Current or Live Stat shows available in-game production; final results are graded after the game. A dash means unavailable, not zero. Missing stats remain pending. Sportsbook settlement may differ.
Link to this guideDelete a saved parlay
- Open My Parlays.
- Swipe left on the saved parlay row.
- Tap Delete.
Understand the parlay likelihood
The combined percentage is an AI estimate using the saved selections, available history, per-pick estimates, and relationships between picks. It is not a calibrated probability, live forecast, sportsbook quote, or guarantee. An ellipsis means analysis is running; a dash means unavailable.

Explore the fantasy Board
- Open Sports Hub → Fantasy IQ → Board.
- Choose Best, Trending, Floor, Boom, Sleepers, Waiver, Targets, or Red Zone.
- Long-press a board filter to choose ALL, QB, RB, WR, or TE.
- Compare points per game, projection, and last-five production.
Compare two players with Start IQ
- Open Fantasy IQ → Start IQ.
- Select the two players you want to compare.
- Review the recommendation with projection, recent form, boom rate, and matchup context. Set your final lineup in your fantasy platform.
Research a matchup
- Open Fantasy IQ → Matchup.
- Choose the offensive player or team and the defense.
- Explore the field view, recent form, schedule, tendencies, comparisons, and matchup grades where available.
Open a fantasy player profile
- Open Fantasy IQ → Players.
- Search for a player; team abbreviations such as BUF or PHI can help narrow the search.
- Tap a result for the player’s KPIs, recent form, schedule, and available matchup context.
Import your Sleeper roster
- Open Fantasy IQ → My Roster.
- Enter your Sleeper username.
- Choose the correct NFL league if multiple leagues appear.
- Review Starters, Reserves, and Best Pick Ups. Import is read-only; it does not set your Sleeper lineup.
Build a roster manually
- Open Fantasy IQ → My Roster → Add Players.
- Search for a player, kicker, or defense.
- Tap the plus button to add them.
- Review your suggested starters and reserves. Manual rosters are stored locally.
Understand roster suggestions and pickups
Suggested starters use a standard one-QB lineup: QB, two RBs, two WRs, TE, FLEX, K, and D/ST. This does not mirror superflex settings. Best Pick Ups requires a Sleeper import because it uses league ownership information; it is not available for fully manual rosters. Unmatched players may appear without complete stats.

- Open Chart Creator in the bottom tabs.
- Choose the relevant league and a template or visual type.
- Describe the player or team, stat, timeframe, and chart type.
- Review the output and its data before saving or sharing.
Write a useful chart prompt
Be specific about what you want to compare. Examples: “Show Josh Allen passing yards last 5 as a line chart.” “Rank NFL receivers by receptions and receiving yards this season.” “Show an NHL goalie save percentage trend over the last 5 starts.” Data availability determines which charts can be built.
Link to this guideChoose a template
Available templates include player matchups, shooting efficiency, player versus team, recent-game bars, trend lines, rankings, and stat leaders. Shot-location and other detailed views depend on the league and underlying data. Some views use a supported alternative when exact location or split data is unavailable.
Link to this guideFix a blank or unexpected chart
- Check the league, player or team, stat, and timeframe.
- Try a simpler supported chart or a different period if the requested data is unavailable.
- Send Ask Viq the prompt, chart title, screen, and screenshot if the output is still wrong.

Link to this guideRatings & stat definitions
Team rating, probability, and edge
A team rating measures strength within a model; it is not a win percentage. A game probability estimates a matchup outcome. Edge compares the model’s probability with the market reference. Confidence is a strength signal, not a promise. The header V score represents model health, not an athlete rating.
Link to this guideWhat does Last 5 mean?
Last 5 refers to the latest five available games for that view. A 3–2 record means three wins and two losses. Early-season views may use previous-season data until current-season coverage is sufficient. Check the chart’s stat and timeframe before comparing.
Link to this guideFantasy projection, floor, ceiling, and boom
Projection is expected fantasy points. Floor describes a lower-end expectation; ceiling describes upside. Boom rate is the share of games where production beat projection by at least 25%. Position rank compares players at the same fantasy position.
Link to this guideProps, moneyline, spread, and totals
A prop is a player or team statistical market. Moneyline refers to the game winner. A spread adds a handicap to the score; covering means beating it. A total refers to the combined score, with over and under outcomes. A push lands exactly on the line.
Link to this guideHit rate, implied probability, and line movement
Hit rate describes how often a condition occurred in the sampled games. Implied probability converts odds into a percentage; no-vig probability removes the sportsbook margin. Line movement compares an earlier market line with the latest available one. Historical hit rate is not a guarantee of the next result.
